Edgewater, a neighborhood in Miami, Florida is a vibrant and luxurious community. As its name suggests, the South Florida neighborhood of Edgewater is a waterfront community that is lined almost entirely with gorgeous highrises that overlook the waters of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Edgewater is located just east of the art district of Wynwood and is roughly bordered by I-195 (North) and NE 17TH terrace (South). Its southern border extends into the Bay to encompass Pace Picnic Island. It’s western and eastern borders lie just beyond NE 2nd Avenue, and approximately half of the intercoastal waterway between Edgewater and Bayshore.
Edgewater is an exciting and bustling enclave that is very pedestrian-friendly. This South Florida neighborhood an excellent choice for those interested in luxury apartments and condominiums.
The neighborhood of Edgewater in Miami is a top-tier location for fitness enthusiasts. The area is home to nearly two dozen gyms, and yoga studios all found within a 3-mile radius of the vibrant neighborhood along with a plethora of spas, clubs, and lounges for fun and self-care. Other parks in the area include Canvas Dog Park and Biscayne Park. Additional parks can be found just beyond the neighborhood limits, within a mile of Edgewater itself.
For more private recreation, there are a number of boat and Jet Ski rental services, which is ideal for residents who simply can’t get enough of the water. Many of these rentals and services can be found close to home within the Bayside Marketplace.

Edgewater is just east of the arts and entertainment district of Wynwood, Miami, Florida.
